This is a brand new class designed for new students with no jiujitsu experience or who are brand new to jiujitsu. We will focus on teaching purely self defense based jiujitsu for kids ages 7 and up. Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend. No uniforms are necessary but please wear comfortable athletic clothes preferably with no buttons or zippers. Please bring a water bottle and sandals or crocs to wear around the academy. This class is open to past, current, and potential future students.

This is a Women's Only Self Defense Class. This class is held every Thursday at 6:00pm. We will cover self defense techniques and strategies that we can use to defend ourselves from an attacker who could be bigger, faster, and stronger than us. This is an all levels class open to ladies of all skill levels and experience. Come join an empowering community of women who are looking to defend themselves, get in shape, and have fun in the process.

Here's what to expect from our new guided open mat format: 

  • We'll start together with a warm-up and go over 1 - 2 techniques to focus on. 
  • After that, its your time to train - you can drill, roll, ask questions, or work on specific skills. 
  • Session is open to both Gi and No Gi training. 

This is a great opportunity for everyone to get extra mat time, sharpen their jiujitsu, and have a fun time training with other team members.

All of our classes are taught by a Certified  Instructor. All instructors: 1) undergo a minimum of 100 hours of shadowing a  black belt instructor,  2) are in good moral standing and have passed a criminal background check 3) Must be purple belt or higher, and must be competent in our blue belt curriculum and have passed the Self Defense requirements for purple belt.   

  • Jrs Class (Ages 4-6) - A fun introduction class for our youngest students. This program uses games and basic drills to teach basic jiujitsu concepts in a nurturing a positive environment.

  • Kids Class (Ages 7-12) - This class guides children through our jiu-jitsu program. This program goes through confidence building strategies and techniques to prevent bullying ethically and humanely. Our kids program focuses on teaching student’s both the sport and self-defense concepts of jiu-jitsu while helping them develop good moral character and habits that will help them have lifelong success.

  • Teens (Ages 13-17) - An extension of our kids program which allows us to provide a safe environment for teenagers to express themselves through jiu-jitsu while continuing to develop skills which can be applied both on and off the mats. 

  • Adults (Ages 18+) [Core] - This class introduces students to our jiu-jitsu system through about 60 core fundamental classes. This class follows a systematized path through our curriculum. No matter where you start in this course you will start to build a solid foundation in understanding our core jiu-jitsu principles with real world self defense application. Core classes are open to all fitness and skill levels.  

  • Sport - Dive into the art of Jiu-Jitsu with an inclusive program which teaches all the basic grappling positions and concepts. Open to both new and experienced students. 

  • Advanced - An extension of our sport program. Advanced classes are designed for experienced grapplers to further their skills with advanced combinations, transitions, and high level concepts. 
  • Competition Class - A combination of competition focused drills and live rolling for an intensive hour long workout. Open to experienced grapplers only 

  • Adult NoGi -A variation of our sport class which focuses on the specific concepts and techniques required for nogi jiujitsu. Open to all levels of experience.

  • Open Mat - Is only open to current members and friends. 
Free Women's Self Defense Class Trial

Free Women's Self Defense Class Trial

This is a free class trial offer for our women's only self defense class,  offered to women in order to help bring awareness and to empower the women in our community through jiujitsu. 

The class will be about 45 minutes to an hour and will cover self defense techniques specific to keeping you safe in a variety of different situations. This class is for women of all experience levels regardless of age, fitness level, from complete beginners to those with prior training. Our goal is to give power back to the women in our lives and to uplift our community one jiujitsu class at a time. 

Please wear clothes that are comfortable to work out in preferably without any buttons or zippers and sandals or crocs to make going from the main floor to the mat more efficient.
